Lent/Holy Week/Easter
Easter Joy for pantry children--help make Easter baskets, Sunday, March 2, 2008 after worship: If you want to assist with the creation of Easter bags that will be given, over the next three Wednesdays, to the children served by the Irving Park Food Pantry, please contact Vicci Rodgers Keutzer. The supplies are being gathered today and tomorrow and the bags will be stuffed this Sunday after church in our fellowship hall. Volunteers from around the neighborhood are coming together to keep this annual outreach alive. The Easter giving was started by the youth of our church over 10 years ago. All ages are invited to help as we fill hundreds of bags with goodies to brighten the lives of these children. Donations are welcome. Vicci: vicci@therodgersgroup.com
Thursdays during Lent: 7:00 p.m., informal Prayer/Meditation gathering followed by Adult Study “Radical Renovation: Living the Cross-Shaped Life” by J.A. Harnish. This will continue each Thursday evening during Lent, in the upstairs Chapel.
Sat., March 15th, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.: Potato Bash Dinner (with all the trimmings) for everyone; with activities prior to meal al 5 p.m. Join us!

Maundy Thursday, March 20, Service at 7:00 p.m., gathering in the Upper Room for Holy Communion and reflection.
Good Friday, March 21, 7:00 p.m., The Seven Last Words of Jesus, a combined service with Mision Hispana & Irving Park Baptist Church, here.
Easter Morning, March 23, 10:00 a.m. Join us as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus!
