Clara Mridula Biswas, Cambodia
Clara is a missionary of the General Board of Global Ministries assigned as a community worker in Cambodia. She works to improve the lives of impoverished children in Phnom Pehn, many of whom are homeless and live in the streets.
Haiti - What originally started as support to hurricane survivors, has refocused to provide emergency relief and development programs to those affected by the 2010 earthquake. In addition to donations, we participate with the greater UMC and our communities to collect items for health kits.
Donations collected once a year through “One Great Hour of Sharing” pays for all administrative costs, allowing 100% of every additional dollar to go directly to the designated mission.
