Our Lives Together

Where 2 or 3 are gathered ...

There are numerous opportunities for the people of God at IPUMC to gather as the church in fellowship and support. We seek to provide a web of care that keeps us connected to one another in times of stress and blessing.

Prayer ministry is available in weekly worship, through the mid-week update, our monthly newsletter and on request at any point. Phone ministry and personal visits keeps those homebound, and at a distance, aware of our concern for them.

Pastoral care is offered by the pastor in the home, hospital or office in the midst of birth, death, illness, loss, trauma, transition, or celebration. The pastor can be reached through the church office. In an emergency, contact her at the number given on the office voicemail.

Baptisms are scheduled in consultation with families. Weddings can be arranged with the pastor. New members are welcome and received into fellowship during regular worship.

The church is organized through a Mission and Ministry Team and an Administrative Counsel in addition to our Trustees and Staff Parish Relations. These groups meet regularly to plan, discuss and discern direction and make decisions in keeping with the mission statement of the Church.

Sacred Grounds is a time of fellowship with refreshments that follows worship each week.

The United Methodist Women meet monthly for a potluck lunch, brief study and business meeting.

Our youth participate in a variety of gatherings sponsored by the local, district and larger church. For more information about our youth education and programming, contact: pam@LPAConline.com.
