You Make All Things Beautiful
In your time, in your time; you make all things beautiful in your time. Lord, my life to you I bring, may each song I have to sing be to you a lovely thing, in your time.
Last Sunday with The Rev. Lisl Heymans Paul as our guest preacher was a fine spiritual experience. We had a good crowd and an excellent response. We thank you all for your participation, support and prayers, and your work toward making the program, and our delicious meal following worship, a success! Thanks to Sina and Richard Kraneis for making the meal happen! Thanks to all who contributed to our budgeting processing and planning for 2010 by pledging to support the church financially in the new year.
Pastor Vickie has returned from Florida where she was with her mother, Barb, and step father Tom Nagle who has been ill for some time. Pastor Cecilia has flown to Florida to be with her mother, Maria de los Angeles Pereda, who has had another stroke. Her entire family is there in Miami. Please include the families of both of our pastors in your prayers.
This Saturday, Nov. 14, there will be a memorial service for Edith Waytula, the mother of Ellen Star, who passed away October 28. The service is at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s House and Health Care Center, 3800 N California, Chicago, 60618. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul's House and Health Care Center.
