Advent 2 - Peace

Remember, this Advent season, be on the lookout for signs that God is leading and directing your life. Email your stories to Pastor Vickie at hadvl@comcast.net. One story will be selected to guide the worshipping community each Sunday morning, but all will be mentioned in some way during the worship service. So get your stories in early and often. Tell your story through pictures, words, poems ... be creative. Or just bring your story to worship on Sunday.

Our first week of Advent is behind us, the second Sunday is coming ... the anticipation is growing ...

Thanks to all who joined us last Sunday. Special thanks to Kristi Carpenter who helped prepare the sanctuary for Advent. The church looks beautiful. More work will be done this Saturday (noon) for our Hanging of the Greens!

During our time of prayer last Sunday people shared places where they experienced hope. This week look for signs of Peace.

Advent 3: December 13 – Joy (report signs of Joy by Thursday, 12/10)
Advent 4: December 20 – Love (report signs of Love by Friday, 12/18)

God came and pitched his tent among us. Find your way to worship so you'll be prepared to welcome the Christ child again!
