Journey to the Cross

We continue our Journey through Lent to the Cross and the bulletin board outside of the church office near the Grace Street entrance is helping us trace our journey. Make sure you stop by to see it. Please place your order forms for Easter flowers as soon as possible (no later than 3/29) so we can have our church ready for Easter morning.

A huge thanks to Sina and Rich Kraneis for donating the entire annual Baked Potato Bash fellowship meal ... supplies, decorations, labor and food. Those in attendance had a wonderful time as the pictures at the church will show. We also enjoyed hearing from Mr. Bo Fagin, who led us in worship and then shared his stories and videos after service as he helped us better understand our Rainbow Covenant mission work in Senegal. Pastor Vickie will be leading us in worship this Sunday speaking from John 3:16, one of the most famous passages from the bible.

If you are interested in helping with our gardens and grounds for Spring clean-up please contact Janet Spencer or the church office. The Pastor needs to hear from anyone who wants to help with Vacation Bible School in June. The # of volunteers will help us determine how many children we can bring in. Even an hour of your time will help. Please respond as soon as possible so they can plan accordingly and make this a huge success for the neighborhood and the church. If you are interested in seeing us have an Easter egg hunt for small children after services on Easter Sunday, please let Vicci Rodgers know. We’re polling parents now. Additional changes and updates have been made to our web site. Remember, regular weekly updates can be found on this site in the highlighted boxes: Sermon Archives, Current News, Seasonal Activities, Small Groups. Check them out! www.irvingparkumc.com

Sunday Worship: 10 a.m. followed by fellowship time. Nursery available for infants and toddlers.
