To prepare for Mary Lou Wallner’s visit on May 17, we will be providing 3 free viewings of the documentary For the Bible Tells Me So. The film shares the experiences of five very normal, Christian, American families and helps us understand how people of faith handle the realization of having a gay child or family member. Mary Lou’s story is one of the five told in this moving and inspiring documentary. Our first viewing of the documentary will be on Sat., April. 19 at 12:00 noon here at the church. Lunch will be provided. A brief discussion will follow the showing of the film. Check our the film’s website at www.forthebibletellsmeso.org. If you have any further questions, please contact James Deaton: jedeaton77@yahoo.com Subsequent viewing dates are Wed., May 7 at 7:00 pm and Sat., May 10 – time to be announced.
