We Share Our Space

Organizations and community groups take advantage of available space opportunities at our church, which allows them to continue their cause in a safe, friendly environment. 

  • Irving Park Food Pantry - Founded over 25 years ago by an IPUMC member, the pantry serves more than 400 families (1300 individuals) each month from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. The Pantry also offers help in applying for food stamps, referrals to other services, nutrition classes and special distributions throughout the year.

  • Reconciling Ministry Network - The Reconciling Ministries Network (RMN) mobilizes United Methodists of all sexual orientations and gender identities to transform the church and world into the full expression of Christ’s inclusive love.

    IPUMC fully supports the work of RMN to help the United Methodist Church become a fully inclusive church.

  • Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) - AA is a fellowship of men and women who meet in order to support one another to not drink and to build healthier and happier lives. 

  • Martha Group - A division of AA, the Martha Group got its name because they originally met at Martha Washington Hospital. Contact Virginia Fenley at lyndaleplace(at)gmail.com or 773.772.1511 for more information.

  • Brownies - Girl Scout Troop 20213 is a troop of 20 courageous, confident and charismatic girls from Disney II Elementary Magnet School who are working to make this world a better place. Contact troop leader, Ashley Zakrzewski, at ashleyzakrzewski(at)gmail.com or 224.430.0874 for more information.

  • Irving Park Historical Society (IPHS) - Formed in 1984 to preserve the Irving Park neighborhood's heritage and irreplaceable architecture. Please contact IPHS President, Richard Lang, at 773.725.4293 for more information.
